Axxam integrates BiomimX uBeat® Organ-on-Chip technology into its drug discovery services

Milan-based CRO Axxam and organ-on-a-chip developer BiomimX announce the integration of BiomimX' proprietary uBeat® technology into Axxam's drug discovery services, enhancing the CRO's ability to support clients with predictive and physiologically relevant testing models

 

Axxam clients include pharma and biotech companies, patient foundations, academic groups, cosmetics and fragrance industries who seek to identify and validate bioactive molecules. To meet these needs, Axxam leverages AI-powered data analysis and in vitro high-throughput screening. The combination of uBeat® organ-on-a-chip technology and AI-driven in silico lead de-risking is expected to reduce late-stage attrition, increase confidence in decision-making and accelerate the delivery of innovative therapies to patients.
